Are you kidding me?!?! I feel like we willed this to happen...I think God got his lines crossed...I was praying that Georgia would come here and play in the Aloha Bowl...oh well!!! Sooooo crazy! People had been throwing around the idea for a few weeks now, but I didn't really think it would happen! The front page of the paper here today says...BRING ON GEORGIA!! I seriously think this is the first time the word Georgia has ever been in the Hawaii paper. It will be fun to follow the hype around this game...makes me feel closer to home. Although I think it will be surreal to watch the game, and downright depressing to not be there!
I will admit that Matt and I have become big warrior fans, but those who know me well know who I'll be cheering for. It will be tough though...I still might have to cheer for Colt Brennan...he's so hot! And I'll probably have to watch the game at our house with all the windows and doors closed as to not be attacked by the Hawaii nation! Starting today, i'll also have to rethink my gym attire...my Georgia t-shirts and sweatshirts might not be the best choices anymore. I want to be a proud Georgia fan, but this football team is pretty much the only thing sports related that they have going for them over here, and they take it very seriously. Pretty scary!!!!! Put the Dawg stuff up till after New Years!!!
come to think of that...WHEN we win, it will be a little more scary. Stay away from dark corners.
